Through our partnership with Edison International, Families In Schools (FIS) is providing parents and students in multiple school districts in Southern California with a number of exciting educational opportunities. Families will have the opportunity to participate in:
- College Knowledge Academy – College Smarts, a program that promotes early planning and knowledge about college and career preparation, and
- Transition to Middle School, which helps parents gain confidence in guiding and monitoring their child’s educational and social development during important transitional change.
Additionally, our partnership with Edison, provides families with the opportunity to participate in our “Passport to Success,” Campaign. The campaign gives families a summer learning kit that helps them explore free and low-cost activities that support college and career exploration.
